Payroll Officer

About the role

As a Payroll Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering high‑quality, end‑to‑end payroll services across the organisation. You will ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time and in compliance with relevant legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and internal policies.


This role also acts as a trusted point of contact for employees and people leaders, providing clear, timely advice on payroll matters while maintaining the integrity, confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data. You will work collaboratively within a high‑performing financial support team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen payroll processes and customer service outcomes.

About you

You are a detail-oriented payroll professional with solid experience in payroll administration and a strong understanding of compliance requirements. With excellent customer service and communication skills, you enjoy working collaboratively while managing confidential information with accuracy and integrity. You bring strong time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Competitive Salary (from $64k) depending on your capabilities and experience + applicable allowances + 12% superannuation
  • Full‑time Fixed term position for 2 years, with the potential for permanent.
  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible working arrangements available
